About the Plan
More Than a Warranty.
Most standard warranties only cover manufacturer defects. The JM Care Plan goes further, covering the routine care and maintenance your jewelry needs to stay looking its very best, plus protection against accidental damage. It is offered in 3-year and lifetime plans, and available on jewelry and watches purchased at Diedrich Jewelers.

What the JM Care Plan Covers
The JM Care Plan covers care, maintenance, and accidental damage that goes beyond what a standard manufacturer warranty provides. Covered services include the following at no out-of-pocket cost.
Prong Repair
Broken, bent, or worn prongs repaired and retipped to keep your stones secure where they belong.
Ring Sizing
Ring resizing services to ensure your piece fits comfortably through every season of life.
Cleaning and Inspection
Professional cleaning and thorough inspection to catch any areas of concern before they become bigger issues.
Polishing and Refinishing
Restore your jewelry to a like-new finish, smoothing out scratches and scuffs from everyday wear.
Stone Tightening
Loose stones re-secured before they become lost stones. Part of every routine inspection.
Accidental Damage
Coverage goes beyond normal wear and tear. Accidental damage is included in your plan, not just manufacturer defects.

Simple Process
How It Works
Purchase Your Plan
Add the JM Care Plan at the time of your jewelry purchase at Diedrich Jewelers. Keep your receipt as proof of coverage. Engagement ring buyers receive the lifetime plan at no charge.
Bring It In
When your jewelry needs service, bring it into our store at 212 Watson Street. Our team handles all communication with Jewelers Mutual on your behalf.
We Handle the Rest
We complete the repair or service and get your piece back to you in like-new condition, with no out-of-pocket cost for covered services.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the JM Care Plan the same as jewelry insurance?
No. The JM Care Plan is a service contract that covers care, maintenance, and accidental damage. It does not cover loss, theft, or mysterious disappearance. For full protection, many customers choose to pair the JM Care Plan with a separate jewelry insurance policy through Jewelers Mutual.
Can I purchase the plan after I have already bought my jewelry?
The JM Care Plan is best purchased at the time of your jewelry purchase. If you have already made your purchase, return to our store and we can discuss your options.
Is the plan transferable if I gift the jewelry?
Yes. The 3-year plan is transferable throughout the life of the plan. The lifetime plan is transferable within the first 180 days after purchase. Simply provide the receipt and Terms and Conditions to the new owner.
Does the plan cover every piece I purchase?
The JM Care Plan must be purchased separately for each individual piece of jewelry. If you are purchasing a wedding set, for example, each ring requires its own plan.
What if I need service and cannot come into the store?
Contact us first and we will work to find a solution. If we are unavailable, you may contact JM Care Plan directly for assistance.
